DOG SOCIALISATION AND TRAINING CLASSES
Currently I run three dog socialisation and training classes to help dogs learn how to interact with each other in a controlled environment.
Children are more than welcome to attend with parents and join in as it's so important for dogs to learn how to listen and behave around them in the family unit.
The classes cover all training commands such as sit, stay, leave, heel work (on and off the lead), recall (inside and outside), retrieve, stand, tricks, clicker, whistle training and more.
The classes helps the dogs to learn and to cope with excitable situations, without the distractions of smells and other noises that you can get outside, which means that the dogs learn a lot faster.
Remember even if most issues take place outside they have to learn to do the commands in a less distracting environment first.
All training is done with positive, modern techniques and we cover lots of role play during class to help you face daily situations and learn how to handle them when it occurs (eg dogs jumping up at strangers in public, stealing food etc).
You also receive a training pack when you start, which includes handouts to help you practice at home. Prevention is better than cure with dog's, so even if you have no issues with your dog why not start some training to prevent anything happening further down the line.
